Two children were seriously hurt on Tuesday evening in Butler County.
The first incident involved a boy falling out of a tree in Center Township, according to Unionville Volunteer Fire Company Chief Nathan Wulff. A medical helicopter flew the boy from the fire station to a Pittsburgh hospital. No further details were released.
Shortly after that incident, a 6-year-old girl was attacked by two Rottweilers in Center Township. State police say the girl sustained “serious” injuries. A medical helicopter landed in a parking lot at the intersection of Route 8 and Mercer Road and transported the girl to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
The children’s conditions are unclear.
