No one was seriously hurt following two separate accidents early Sunday morning in Butler Township.
The first was a four-vehicle chain reaction crash around 12:30 a.m. on Evans City Road at South Eberhart Road. According to Butler Township Police, an 88-year-old Butler woman was eastbound on Evans City Road when her car rear-ended an SUV that was stopped at a red light. Two other vehicles were also damaged during the incident. A teen passenger was taken to Butler Memorial for minor injuries. When you’re on the road, you can never predict that’ll happen. Plus, there are times where accidents are not your fault. Whatever the case, after seeking medical help, speaking to a personal injury lawyer las vegas (if you live in and around this area) could help you get onto the right path when it comes to moving on with your life. Additionally, getting in touch with specialists like these will let you know that you’re not on your own.
Then at 3:30 a.m., Butler Township Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on North Main Street Ext. at Rachel’s Roadhouse. Police say a 56-year-old Butler man swerved his vehicle off the road, traveled over an embankment and struck an electrical box located outside of Rachel’s. The driver told police he dropped his cell phone and lost control of his car. He wasn’t hurt. Driver distraction is one of the leading causes of car accidents these days. It can take something as small as trying to retrieve your phone to cause a crash this serious.
We should all understand that our priority should be our safety, so you shouldn’t let phones distract you. From car accidents in Brooksville, car accidents in France or even ones that happen in the UK, concentration is key to avoid situations like this happening.
