Monday marks the 15th anniversary of the unsolved deaths of two Butler County boys.
Scott Fosnaught and Shawn Bauer, both 15 years old, were found by a passing motorist on Cashdollar Road in the early morning hours of July 17, 2002.
The pair of Seneca Valley classmates had been at a summertime field party earlier that evening and were apparently walking home to Baur’s home on Watters Station Road when they were injured.
Police at the time thought the boys may have been hit by a car that fled the scene however no evidence pointed to that.
A candlelight vigil will be held tonight at 6 p.m. on Cashdollar Road to honor the boys and to also once again raise awareness so that someone who has information will call police.
