A 14-year-old girl was taken to the hospital last night after she fell jumping from rooftop-to-rooftop in Downtown Butler.
City Police say the incident happened around 7:40 p.m. when the girl and two friends got onto the rooftops of two buildings on South Main Street. According to one of the juveniles, the 14-year-old fell off the landing of Miller’s Shoes and landed between the gap of the two buildings.
Authorities had to go through a window of the store to access the girl
Police say she was conscious and alert, but was flown to Children’s Hospital for severe leg and foot pain.
Police say her injuries were deemed to be non-life threatening.
