A new statewide bridge repair program is slated to replace two more Butler County bridges by the end of the year.
Both Caldwell Drive bridge- which spans over a tributary of Thorn Creek in Jefferson Township- and Saxonburg Boulevard Bridge over Bull Creek in Clinton Township are set to be replaced.
The West Cruickshank Road Bridge which runs over Glade Run in Middlesex Township was the first county bridge to be replaced under the new program. It opened Friday (8/28).
PennDOT’s Rapid Bridge Replacement Program will replace 558 bridges across the state during the next three years.
