One person was killed and another injured in an accident Monday afternoon just south of Butler County.
Northern Regional Police Chief Bob Amann said 54-year-old Jay Watts of Sewickley was killed when a crane truck crossed into the opposite lane and crashed into a tractor trailer that was hauling logging equipment. The crane truck then landed on top of a pickup truck.
Watts was driving the pickup.
The crash happened about 3 p.m. on Gibsonia Road in Pine Township, Allegheny County.
The road was closed overnight and reopened about 3 a.m. Tuesday morning.
