One person has been charged and police are still looking for two others in connection with an armed robbery and home invasion in Fairview Township.
State Police Lt. Eric Hermick said the robbery happened about 1 a.m. Thursday at a home on Petrolia Road. It’s unclear if the suspects targeted the home or if it was random.
Patrick Bookwalter, 35, of Clarion County is set to be arraigned Friday afternoon on robbery, aggravated assault and other charges. Police allege Bookwalter broke into the home armed with pepper spray and a handgun and attacked the residents- Savannah Blust and Macklin Haye.
Police believe there were three people involved in the robbery and invasion. Two are still wanted by police.
“We’re in the process of locating them,” Hermick said in an interview Friday. “We know who we are after.”
Hermick said the motive was robbery and that Bookwalter “is being cooperative.” He declined to elaborate.
During the course of the investigation, police found evidence the two residents were manufacturing illegal drugs in the home. Police are now preparing charges against Blust and Haye in connection with running a THC wax manufacturing operation.
