Former Grove City College President Richard Jewell has been appointed to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
Jewell is from Allegheny County and was president of Grove City for over a decade when he retired last year.
Speaker of the House Mike Turazi says Jewell was elected because of his background in litigation, corporate law and forensic accounting.
The gaming control board is made of up seven commissioners who oversee the regulations of the gaming industry for the state.
