Butler Health System officials say that if you had a vaccine appointment scheduled for Monday in Butler—it will now be Wednesday.
The times will be the same and you will receive an email notifying you of the change.
Our newsroom talked with Butler Health System Chief Nursing Officer Karen Allen late last week, and she said an issue with weather caused the delay.
“We have not received our shipment yet for Monday, so we are going to cancel Monday’s second doses because we don’t want to wait and then have people show up if we don’t receive the vaccine over the weekend,” Allen said.
Health system officials also say that the delivery of vaccine from the Pennsylvania Department of Health remains unpredictable.
