The Beaver County woman who accidentally shot a relative after her wedding last year has been sentenced.
According to our news partners at WPXI-TV, 31-year-old Christina George-Harvan of Patterson Township was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter and reckless endangerment in the death of her niece, 21-year-old Katelyn Francis.
George-Harvan will spend 16 to 32 months in jail for the shooting, which occurred outside a New Brighton bar during a dispute after her wedding in April of 2014.
The maximum sentence she could have received was 5 years.
